bio
dori vanderheyden is a multi-disciplinary Toronto artist. She is interested in the individual’s perceptions, hidden histories, and meaning-making experiences. Exploring the posthuman relationship between humans and materials, her recent art practice is about how the physical material, colour, the maker, and the viewer interact to co-construct new phenomenological experiences. vanderheyden earned a BFA from the University of Toronto and an MFA from Ontario College of Art and Design University.
